The holidays are almost upon us and now is the perfect time to get your shopping done and support a local nonprofit at the same time! Senior Concerns’ Bargain Boutique and Thrift Store is planning a massive, holiday blow out Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Boutique is located at 80 E. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.

One of the major motivations for thrift shopping is the thrill of the hunt for treasures like brand name apparel and accessories. And, the Bargain Boutique’s Sidewalk Sale will not disappoint!

The Sale will feature racks of high end, gently used designer clothing and accessories, shoes and purses, and jewelry for the women in your life. You’ll find beautiful home décor, housewares, and artwork, as well as large selection of children’s clothing and toys. And, you’ll be amazed by the vast selection of holiday décor. Decorate your house at a fraction of the price!

Not only will shoppers be able to find amazing treasures and great prices, proceeds from the sale will provide vital support to Senior Concerns. Funds raised will help support Senior Concerns’ Meals On Wheels Program, the Caregiver Support Center, Senior Advocacy Services, and Pro Bono Legal and Financial Services.

“Our senior community needs us now more than ever,” says Andrea Gallagher, President of Senior Concerns. “We have seen a tremendous increase in the need for our core programs, such as Meals On Wheels. We used to deliver 800 meals per week. Today, we are delivering more than 4,000 meals on a weekly basis. Our Case Managers are fielding more than 400 calls per month from stressed and scared family caregivers. We need your help to keep these programs going.”

Mark your calendar and don’t miss this sale. Come early for the best selection. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
