I am fortunate to have so many inspirational examples who have led me while helping others. My mother, Girl Scout leader who taught me how to tie a square knot, 4-H leader who taught me to sew, volunteers at Los Robles Hospital who taught me the value of being a volunteer, Senior Concerns volunteers who continually show me the value of a caring heart. For my own self, volunteering is a way of life. It brings much more than it takes and I am blessed for it. Make your own decision to “inspire by example” simply by responding to our call for volunteers on this web site.
Senior Concerns recently completed a strategic planning process and is stronger and more clearly directed thanks to our caring volunteer Board Members who take their duties seriously. I am continuously inspired by their work and grateful for their dedication to Senior Concerns.
