After 35 years of operation, the Bargain Boutique and Thrift Shop has been permanently closed.

Our decision did not come easily. The growth of online shopping changed the retail market, and resulted in a significant loss of our store sales over time.

Senior Concerns operated its Bargain Boutique and Thrift Shop at 80 E. Hillcrest in the Community Conscience Building since 1989. Through Community Conscience’s generous program of free rent for community nonprofits, we were able to invest profits from the store directly into building new programs and services for our communities’ seniors and family caregivers.

We are deeply indebted to Community Conscience, our staff member Irene, our wonderful volunteers, our generous donors and our loyal patrons.
