Senior Concerns, as part of its commitment to provide support for seniors, will present a community seminar titled “Transforming Your Relationship With Food,” on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Senior Concerns, 401 Hodencamp Road, Thousand Oaks.

This informative seminar, led by Eileen Gold, owner/administrator of Paraclete Eldercare Planning, Training, Consultation and Management Services, will explore the causes and remedies for our dysfunctional relationship with food, and help attendees learn what foods support metabolism and what foods do not. Seminar attendees will also be introduced to the habits of people who live the longest, happiest and healthiest lives in the world, and gain new insights, attitudes and strategies to change your relationship with food.

Eileen Gold, M.A. is a graduate of UCLA with her Masters in philosophy. Eileen serves as a consultant to residential, day activity and governmental programs serving individuals with impairments. She has extensive experience in administration, program development, case management, community organization and advocacy. Eileen is a frequent guest speaker at forums addressing the issues impacting the lives of older adults.
