QUESTION: A few friends of mine were telling me about the OLLI classes they have been taking at CSUCI and thought I might be interested in the upcoming offering. Can you tell me about it — when, where etc?
ANSWER: Your friends were referring to the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute known as “OLLI” that is based at California State University Channel Islands and serves those who believe that “curiosity never retires.”
It offers an adventure in academia to adults over 50 years of age with courses in lecture and discussion format with – no grades – no tests – no homework – for those who are still in love with learning.
The session your friends are referring to is the “single class” session that is offered between regular semester sessions and will be starting on June 12 and run through July 25.
Classes have been scheduled at four locations.
