Carol Freeman

Carol Freeman is an accomplished executive with extensive leadership in healthcare and business. Starting her career as a registered nurse Carol rose through the administrative ranks to the position of Chief Executive Officer for acute care hospitals in Ventura, Orange and Los Angeles counties.

Carol received her Master of Business Administration from California Lutheran University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Redlands. Her nursing degree was awarded by the Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing.

A long time area resident and active volunteer in many community organizations, Carol served on the Board of Senior Concerns prior to being appointed as President. She is also a Director Emeritus of Hospice of the Conejo, member of the Board for the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks and with her husband Dave involved in the Conejo Valley Model A Ford Club. She has previously been recognized as “Woman of the Year” for the State of California 67th Assembly District.
